My husband got COVID-19 on November 8. He did well for about 2 weeks. On November 19th he was admitted to the hospital. From there it was a battle for him. November 24th he was incubated. For about 2 weeks he stayed ventilated. He beat covid and I got to see him. He passed away on December 23. Just 4 days after he got the trach in place. We have no idea what happened but his body just started to shut down. Andrew was only 29. He had a lot of life left him. We had so many plans that diminished. I was one of the lucky ones that got to say goodbye to my husband but for many widow/widowers they were not.
