I got the call that my mother tested positive for COVID on a Thursday, and by Saturday night I was told she wouldn’t make it. Four days. Four days before she was put on a ventilator, and then the next week informed she wouldn’t pull through and we took her off to let her pass in peace. She suffered from COPD, but it was not her time yet. She will be missed.
