My grandfather wasn’t 82 years old, he was 82 years young. He was fine before COVID-19. My mom canceled his regular appt for the day on Aug 14th and took him to the ER only because he wasn’t acting like himself. From that day on it was an emotional roller-coaster. He would be up and talking for days and then his condition would change. Eventually we would get a call that he took a turn for the worst and would have to be put on a ventilator. 12 days later we watched him take his last breath. Our family is devastated and forever changed. He was everyone’s Grandpa and will be terribly missed.
