Gaetana Deserto, 63. She lost her husband to pulmonary fibrosis in February 17th, 2019 and passed on April 6th this year of Covid-19. Two weeks after getting infected by a sick colleague at her job. She was the most caring mother and Nonna anyone could ask for. She would walk 1,000 miles with 2 broken legs to bring 1 ounce of happiness to her family. She was born in Carini, Italy in 1957 and moved to Brooklyn, NY in the 1970s. She was the greatest and most loving woman to ever be placed on this earth, and her family’s world is much darker without her.
