My Husband and I were sick in March of 2020 before everything shut down. We were unable to get help or even a test when we first tried. I believe if we had been told the truth about this virus and it had not been politicized and used as a weapon my husband would still be here, we were not even afforded the opportunity to protect ourselves. They did not call me and give me the opportunity to talk to my husband before they intubated him – he told the nurse to tell me to keep the faith. My heart is broken- I lost my best friend and partner and my husband lost his life. He had more living to do. The world lost an incredible human.
