My husband was placed in memory care February 1st 2020 in a city nearby and I am in assisted living. We were only able to visit by phone or FaceTime for 9 months before he passed. In the midst of this, my mom passed due to non-COVID-19 related issues in May and I lost a very dear friend in my facility from COVID-19 as well. My facility has been in quarantine for almost 1 year. I go out twice daily to walk my dog. Other than that, I have been to my mom and husband’s funerals. I’m lonely and no one to hug.
