My beautiful mother passed away from COVID-19. She was alone. I said goodbye to her over FaceTime. There was no funeral, and I was robbed of warming hugs. COVID-19 ruined my life. The images of her suffering are emblazoned in my mind. She was supposed to walk me down the aisle just three months later. I still have her dress. I miss my mom.
