My husband and I contracted Covid-19 around 11/20/2020. I was very sick and stayed at home to care for our medical foster babies and special needs daughter. It was so hard, and then he got sicker on December 6 . I took him to the hospital as no one could be near us as we both where positive. I gave him a hug and we hugged for the last time. We had been together for 42 years. He left 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and a great grandchild on the way. We both enjoyed caring for foster children for over 30 years and he owned a construction company before retirement. He was a loving husband, strong and healthy before this horrible Covid-19 took his life. I have lost most income and am now forced to move from our house that I can’t afford. I have lasting effects still from Covid-19: hair loss, a cough, eyesight problems, and muscle weakness. I am depressed and sad most of the time. I was positive from 11/19-12/24 I saw no family or friends while I was grieving for him. We still have to had no closure, funeral, and no good byes. My life will never be the same.
