I will never forget the call that changed my life and my families. I was unaware of my fathers condition battling COVID until he was already too far gone. My fathers mother and his girlfriend kept his condition from my brother and I until decisions needed to be made. The pain I have is unreal. I am not writing this to bash anyone but rather to enjoy the moments you have with those important to you. COVID has turned my life upside down and has forever changed me. My brother has had COVID twice and the fear is too great whenever I see COVID updates. I want to honor my father and also acknowledge the families of those who are managing life after a COVID death.
