On July 22,2020….Big Mike’s birthday….phone rings…thinking he’s returning my Birthday Wishes…nooo….call that he’s admitted in the hospital with covid-19. Gloomy message no doubt. Days ahead were up and down….then came the dreadful words that Mike’s not improving and will be placed on ventilator…..for which he never returned……never to forget the callon August 12…that I should notify family members to join with me at the hospital for Mike’s transitioning…. Could not hold him….distant, tearful goodbye ….never to forget loss…..Mike’s gone too Soon but covid-19 didn’t win ….God did……
