My mother was only 64-years-old no known medical condition. She stayed in the hospital for 3 months, this disease ravaged her lungs. My mother put up a great fight against this disease. She loved us so much that she didn’t say goodbye until all three daughters had found true acceptance that she will be gone. She died while all three of us held her, I was holding her right hand with my husband behind me, my 2nd sister held her left hand and her husband standing behind her, and my youngest sister hugging her in the middle. We are truly blessed to be able to say our farewell in person and she was never alone.
