My mother, Rose Phillips, had stage four metastatic breast cancer for ten years. She went into remission last year. She was my best friend and had a heart-filled laugh. She was never on a ventilator. I saw her 48 hours before she passed and she told me she felt fine. She was going to keep fighting. I reach out several times a day to call her and can’t believe she is not here. She is the best “Ba-bo.” She is missed terribly by all who knew her.
