My parents were both taken from my family this summer by COVID. They were both 73 years old and diagnosed and passed away within 3 weeks. They died 5 days apart. It’s been terribly hard on me and my sister as we both live far away from them. The lack of laws regarding safety measures in their state are what we truly believe allowed them to contract the virus. My parents had many friends and we’re very loved by everyone. We are devastated. Luckily we were allowed to visit my dad before he died in the hospital, but my sweet mom died alone at home in the early morning hours. She was able to call EMS but they couldn’t save her.
